Gatto Gelato
Total bill: ₱400 (no service charge)
Cost per person: ₱200.00
What I ordered & my thoughts:
Thai Tea (₱200, in cone): Surprisingly close to real Thai milk tea, a well-balanced mix of tea and milk, with the rich, dense gelato texture making it even more interesting. The only downside was the butterscotch hidden inside, which was a little sticky.
Mango Sticky Rice (₱200, in cone): I wasn’t sure about this flavor at first, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. With real mango pieces🥭mixed in, it has a refreshing summer feel.
Overall experience:
A simple and welcoming space with seats to rest and offer service water. The staff were friendly, happy to introduce new flavors, and even let us try several flavors before deciding.
₱200 initially felt a little pricey for a small cup, but the actual gelato portion was surprisingly generous, making it good value. You can choose a cup with a small cone, or go for the larger cone with gelato like I did 🍦. The only downside is that it melts a little bit fast.
Located in a small shopping area with other stores, including a Japanese supermarket, matcha drinks, and clothing shops — a nice spot to stop for gelato after walking around.
My review:
If you’re already in the area for a little shopping, it’s worth stopping by for a scoop, especially when you need a sweet little break.
